In the latest Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management, retired American Airline's VP Revenue Management Scott Nason describes these six "C's" - Competition, Coopetition, Codesharing, Coordination, Cooperation and Collusion. From this discussion it becomes clear that the way airlines work with each other is much more complex that it appears. Each of these "C's" is designed to reduce risk, lower costs and therefore build revenue. |
